WWE Unlikely To Rehire Amore, GRR Trophy News, Asuka To Win Title

According to Mike Johnson on a recent edition of the PWInsider Elite Audio Program, even though the investigation into Enzo Amore’s sexual allegations have been closed and all charges have been dropped, WWE is unlikely to show any interest in hiring him back. Enzo Amore was reportedly already on “thin ice” even before these allegations surfaced.
The segment on RAW where Braun Strowman ran over Drew McIntyre and ended up breaking his Greatest Royal Rumble trophy was reportedly not scripted to happen. Strowman was indeed supposed to run over McIntyre but WWE did not want or anticipate the events that took place next which caused Strowman to break his Greatest Royal Rumble trophy.
The plan as of right now is for Asuka to defeat Carmella for the SmackDown Women’s Title at the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV Event. It is possible that a reason for WWE to do this is because the company has an upcoming tour in Japan, but it should be noted that WWE took the title off of Jinder Mahal shortly before they visited India.
