Amid Talks For Their Release, Here’s All You Need To Know About Assassins Of Ex-PM Rajiv Gandhi

Former Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi, was assassinated on May 21,1991,in Tamil Nadu’s Sriperumbudur. There was a nationwide mourning following his untimely death in the suicide attack that shook the entire world. After almost three decades of the horrendous act, there are demands of releasing his assassins who belonged to a banned group named as the Liberation Tigers Of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). The attack was planned by LTTE chief Prabhakaran who was later killed in a hunt by the Sri Lankan army.
