Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s Split Just Got Messy in a Very Public Way

Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson may not have had a romance written in the stars, but things at least seemed to be amicable between the exes — “seemed“ being the key word.

Grandison’s split took a nasty public turn this week after a new promo for this weekend’s upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live dropped, featuring Pete, host Jonah Hill, and musical guest Maggie Rogers.

“Hey Maggie, I’m Pete. You wanna get married?” Davidson joked. When she quickly shot him down, he gave a slight smile, looked into the camera à la Jim Halpert, and said “0 for 3.”

You know who wasn’t smiling at that? Ariana Grande.

The Sweetener singer vented her frustrations with Davidson publicly on Twitter in a series that has since been deleted. While her first post is a subtweet that could theoretically be about anyone, her next response made it crystal clear who the topic of conversation was.
