“Qu’est-ce qu’être une femme à Hollywood signifie réellement ?“, s’interroge Lady Gaga. Elle a répondu à sa propre question lundi, lors d’une remise de prix organisée par le magazine ELLE. Émue et la voix tremblante, la superstar a reçu le soutien de Charlize Theron et Jennifer Lopez.

Lundi soir, a eu lieu la 25e édition de l’événement ELLE Women in Hollywood. Les prestigieux invités de la cérémonie de récompenses se sont réunis à l’hôtel Four Seasons, à Los Angeles. Parmi eux se trouvait Lady Gaga.

Vêtue d’un costume Marc Jacobs, l’héroïne du film A Star Is Born était l’une des femmes à l’honneur des 25e ELLE Women in Hollywood. Elle a prononcé un discours émouvant sur le statut de ses pairs dans l’industrie du cinéma, à l’issue duquel la remettante Jennifer Lopez l’a chaleureusement embrassée.

"I asked myself: What does it really mean to be a woman in Hollywood? We are not just objects to entertain the world. We are not simply images to bring smiles or grimaces to people’s faces. We are not members of a giant beauty pageant meant to be pit against one another for the pleasure of the public. We women in Hollywood, we are voices.
