As noted, The Rock received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame yesterday, and WWE.com picked up on the story with the following:
“The Great One received his star on the iconic streetway earlier today at a special ceremony at 6801 Hollywood Blvd. Stephanie McMahon — whose father, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, received his own star in 2008 — offered her congratulations to the WWE icon and Hollywood megastar via Instagram”:

He’s an Executive Producer, an entrepreneur and the head of his own media empire… but of course, I’ll always know him as the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, @TheRock! While you were already immortalized in @WWE, entertaining millions upon millions, it’s only fitting you are now officially a part of the Hollywood constellation.
