Matt Hardy Comments on ‘Woken’ Bray Wyatt Joining Him, Dedicates ‘Mania Win to King Maxel & Lord Wolfgang

As noted, Woken Matt Hardy won this year’s Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the WrestleMania 34 Kickoff Show, after an assist from an unlikely ally – the previously DELETED eater of worlds, Bray Wyatt. It looks like we may be seeing some sort of Woken Family growing, and as Matt pointed out via social media following his monumental victory, things have just begun.

Matt also dedicated the match to his two sons King Maxel and Lord Wolfgang, who may want to watch their backs now that a 10-year-old is holding one-half of the RAW Tag Team Championships.

As we’ve previously reported, Jeff Hardy confirmed at the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony this weekend that he has been medically cleared to return to in-ring competition, so it will be interesting to see how the company plans to work him into his brother’s bizarre world going forward, if that is in fact the direction they want to take. Jeff could return to WWE RAW as earlier as tonight’s show in New Orleans, which is expected to feature a number of big returns and debuts.
