Big Title Match Set for ‘Impact Wrestling Redefined’ TV Special; We Speculate Wildly on Potential Matches
Impact Wrestling has announced the date and name for their next two-hour television special. “Impact Wrestling Redefined” will be taking place from the Rebel Complex in Toronto, Ontario in two weeks time, on Thursday, August 30th.
The first and only match announced for the special (so far) will see Brian Cage defend the X-Division Championship against Rey Fenix. The high-flying sensation scored an incredible victory over Sami Callihan on this week’s Impact episode, earning him the #1 contender’s spot to the gold. We’ve seen Fenix do some incredible, never-before-seen things in the ring, but will he be able to overcome the monstrous Cage?
While we’re not 100% sure which matches will end up on the “Redefined” card, the next four weeks of television have already been taped, so why not SPECULATE WILDLY!

MINOR SPOILERS BEYOND THIS POINT!
It’s very likely that Impact Wrestling Redefined will be headlined by a triple threat match for the Knockouts Championships, pitting Su Yung against both Allie and Tessa Blanchard. They set up the angle on this week’s show, and have already spoiled the results several times on social media. The company is making a big deal out of this match, so if they’re doing another TV special it seems very likely this is going to be the marquee match.
Rich Swann also returned at the tapings, facing Petey Williams, so that could find its way onto the card. There’s also the return of Moose happening at some point in the next few weeks, and a big angle involving him, Austin Aries, Killer Kross and Eddie Edwards.
It has already been announced that Sami Callihan will face Pentagon Jr. in a Mexican Death Match next week, so that will obviously not be taking place at Redefined. We’ll keep you posted as more announcements are made.
