Details On MJF And Joey Janela’s MLW Status Following AEW Signing

After being revealed as All Elite Wrestling talents at the rally last week, details have been reported regarding MJF and Joey Janela’s MLW status’.

With the two highly talented wrestlers signing for the brand new company, many fans had worried that it would bring an end to their time with MLW, but according to a report by Fightful.com, that is not the case.

MJF, who appeared on Being The Elite this week as Cody Rhodes’ Portege, has a two-year deal with MLW according to the report and the company isn’t expecting any issues to come from him working with AEW.

The report stated that MLW has an open line of communication with AEW and that things are going smoothly so far between them both.

Joey Janela was on a per-show basis with MLW and is also said to be on really good terms with the company, although he is currently still out of action with a knee injury.

It appears that each AEW contract has the possibility to be unique, with talents such as MJF and Janela set to possibly continue working for MLW and other promotions, with Janela being allowed to continue his Spring Break shows.

On top of that, Chris Jericho is continuing to promote his cruise and will certainly be continuing his work with Fozzy, whilst Britt Baker will continue her dental work, whereas other talents have been told to finish their independent dates prior to Double Or Nothing.
