Former WWE & Impact Star Offers His Managerial Services To Bobby Lashley

Former WWE and Impact Wrestling star Elijah Burke has offered his “services” as an advocate to the All-Mighty Bobby Lashley, following the heavyweight juggernaut’s defeat at WrestleMania this past Sunday.

Burke debuted with WWE in 2006 as a part of the rebooted and rebranded ECW series, and was immediately pushed as one of Vince McMahon’s hand-picked stars to lead the brand. He was given a faction called The New Breed and even led the team against four ECW “originals” at WrestleMania 23, before beginning a notable program with CM Punk.

He signed with Impact Wrestling in 2009 under the name D’Angelo Dinero, debuting the “Black Pope” character and later becoming a color commentator for the promotion.

Obviously, Bobby Lashley already has a manager in the form of the loudmouth Lio Rush. For what it’s worth, Lashley and Burke do have some interesting similarities in their backgrounds, in that the later had a successful amateur boxing career in the Jacksonville, FL area before jumping into the world of professional wrestling.
