Tommaso Ciampa Slated For A Mid-August Return To In-Ring Action

According to a report by Fightful.com, former NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa is currently slated to return to in-ring action in mid-August.

Fightful.com obtained an internal WWE inactive list which features injured talents and their expected return dates, with Ciampa’s currently being set for the middle of August.

Ciampa last wrestled on February 20, and had to relinquish his NXT Championship due to his neck injury. The Psycho Killer had anterior cervical fusion surgery and was expected to miss a minimum of six months of action.

Whilst this is obviously positive news in-terms of how Ciampa’s recovery is going, it is worth noting that the timetables on the list may not be precise, and could simply be a rough estimate, so it is not guaranteed he will be back then.
