WWE NXT Results: Tommaso Ciampa Returns to Action, Pete Dunne vs Damien Priest, Io Shirai in Action

First Match: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Angel Garza

Ciampa sold his neck early in the match, honestly my SlingTV stream kept freezing. Ciampa got the win, I assume cleanly.

It is announced Finn Balor will be on tonight’s NXT.

Undisputed Era came out after the match and handed Mauro Ranallo and the commentary team a flash drive.

The Undisputed Era’s video plays after the commercial break. They are shown beating up a knocked-out Velveteen Dream. They warn Finn Balor and Tommaso Ciampa that this is what awaits them.

Second Match: Danny Birch & Oney Lorcan vs. Imperium (Fabian Aichner & Macel Barthel)

Imperium dominate to start. Birch and Lorcan get a brief advantage, but Aichner takes over. Imperium takes advantage with a double team in the corner before cutting to commercial.

Back from commercial, Birch fights out of a stretch plum by Barthel. Lorcan tags in and hits a series of European Uppercuts. Lorcan hits three suicide dives and tags Birch back in.

Birch and Lorcan get a nearfall via double powerbomb. Lorcan tags back in. Barthel breaks up Magic Killer. Lorcan and Aichner trade blows. Aichner counters a Half & Half Suplex. Aichner and Barthel double team Lorcan. Aichner hits a standing moonsault and gets a nearfall.

Lorcan hits a series of chops but gets hit with a Spinebuster and a Penalty Kick. Imperium hit European Bomb for the pinfall.

WINNERS: Imperium

A Johnny Gargano hype video plays. Backstage Johnny Gargano is interviewed about his history with Tommaso Ciampa. Gargano gives a very long non-answer, essentially saying he doesn’t know how he feels about Ciampa’s return.
