CM Punk Drops a Pipe Bomb on Actor Tom Arnold…and Seth Rollins

Every week on WWE Backstage the panel ends the show with what they call the “Social Media Smackdown”, responding to negative social media comments with fired up promos. Given that Tuesday night’s show saw the official debut of CM Punk, it only made sense to leave the people with their first “pipe bomb” in six years.

It all started when the panel revealed a tweet sent by Tom Arnold, claiming he could probably take him in a fight despite his “night blindness”.

Who the hell is Tom Arnold? I can hear everyone under the age of about 35 asking, in unison. The comedian and actor is professionally best known for his role in True Lies or The Stupids, but it’s more likely that if you’ve heard of him, it’s because he used to be married to Roseanne Barr.

Here’s the thing though – Punk wasn’t just speaking to Mr. Arnold when he fired back, telling him to “go search for relevancy somewhere else”.

He was also sending a message to Seth Rollins. Earlier in the night the Straight-Edge Superstar responded to Rollins calling him out on Twitter, looking for a fight. Check out the footage of Punk delivering another classic promo below.
