Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts Sends Chilling Warning To Cody Rhodes On AEW Dynamite

Alright, who had Jake “The Snake” Roberts cutting a Promo of the Year candidate on live television on their 2020 wrestling BINGO card?

Roberts, one of the most feared and vile names in wrestling history, surprised everyone this Wednesday when the 64-year-old legend marched to the ring live on AEW Dynamite, coming face-to-face with the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.

While fans were initially happy to see Jake, he quickly made it clear that he wasn’t out there to glad-hand and gain favor from the company’s fan-favorite Executive Vice President.

“I know, I know, Hail mighty Caesar,” Jake growled at an already irate Cody, fresh off a loss to MJF at this past weekend’s AEW Revolution pay-per-view. “I’m not here to praise you – I’m here to slay you. The dark side is coming to All Elite Wrestling.”

Roberts announced that he has found a client, so it looks like he’ll be joining the ranks of Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard and other legends who have found a home as managers in AEW. Check out highlights from the segment below.
