New Raw Tag Team Champs, Saudi Signees Beat Daivari’s, Undertaker
After Braun Strowman and his tag team partner Nicholas won the Raw Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania, the two vacated the titles the very next night on Raw. A Tag Team Eliminator tournament has been taking place on Raw over the past few weeks in order to determine new champions. The finals of the tournament took place at The Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia earlier today, and the match saw “Woken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt defeat Sheamus and Cesaro to win the titles. The Bar will now be working exclusively on Smackdown while the unique team of Wyatt and Hardy will have to defend their titles against the likes of The Revival, Titus Worldwide, and The Authors of Pain.

WWE held a series of grueling tryouts in Saudi Arabia last week with the goal of signing some of the best athletes that the nation has to offer to NXT contracts. The winners of those tryouts were introduced during a segment on the Greatest Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The four tryout winners were suddenly interrupted by 205 Live star Ariya Daivari and his brother Shawn Daivari. Both brothers disapproved of the Saudi Arabian WWE tryout winners before they took turns praising the nation of Iran. Each of the new WWE signees got the change to dish out some punishment on the Daivari brothers before they scurried off to the back. It looks like Nessar, Hussein, Mansoour, and Faisal have already made an impact in the world of WWE.

As promised, The Undertaker made a rare in-ring return during the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia earlier today. “The Phenom” wrestled in a Casket Match in his first match back since he defeated John Cena in less than three minutes at WrestleMania earlier this month. Unfortunately, the fact that today is Rusev Day did not matter in this instance since “The Deadman” was able to defeat Rusev and lock both him and Aiden English in a casket together to win the match. The match lasted approximately nine minutes and forty seconds. The Undertaker celebrated his victory on the ramp as Rusev and English were carried away to the back.
Business, taken care of.
