The Ronda Rousey vs. Nia Jax Match was at one point scheduled to be the main event at last Sunday night’s Money in the Bank PPV Event with the Alexa Bliss cash-in to follow to close the show. The decision was made earlier in the week, possibly over the weekend, to close the show with the Men’s Money in the Bank Match instead.
Pat Patterson, Bruce Prichard and John Gaburick were all backstage at last Sunday night’s Money in the Bank PPV Event. This is in addition to SAnitY and Aiden O’Shea as previously reported.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE had been considering bringing back James Ellsworth as far back as for the Greatest Royal Rumble Event in April. The reason he was being discussed around that timeframe is that there was an internal pitch to have him participate as one of the 50 men in the match.
