Court Bauer Discusses Issues With WWE, Early Bumblebee Reviews

Court Bauer is experiencing a great deal of success right now with MLW, but unfortunately for him, WWE has taken notice of that success. WWE has been aggressively pursuing talent lately, and among the names said to be joining the company in 2019 is current MLW star Shane Strickland. Other MLW names, such as Pentagon Jr. and Fenix, have also reportedly garnered attention from WWE, but those two particular names ultimately decided to stay with MLW for the foreseeable future. Bauer has had numerous issues with WWE signing away his talent over the years, and that does not appear to be stopping any time soon. Bauer just revealed a story about a past incident with WWE on social media.
When asked by a fan about the possibility of Garza Jr. coming in for some MLW shows, Bauer responded with a tweet claiming that he did try to book Garza for an MLW show, but WWE got in the way of that. He and Ultimo Ninja were both supposedly scheduled to take part in MLW events, but instead were brought into meetings with WWE officials. Also, Bauer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that his issues with WWE have become so common lately that he has been sending cease and desist letter to the company. Wrestlers working for MLW are under contract to the promotion, which could create issues for WWE. Regardless, several wrestlers are still expected to be joining WWE in time for early 2019.

We brought in Garza along with Ultimo Ninja this past spring. They vanished, blowing off pre tapes to meet across town with @WWE Talent Relations and negotiate deals. Super talented guys but that was unprofessional and puts you on my do not disturb list. Sketchy move by WWE too. https://t.co/ghwbXCFHKi
