Amo earned Super Region 3 Wrestler of the Week

NEWBERRY, S.C.- Augustana Wrestler Aero Amo was named Super Region 3 Wrestler of the Week announced on Tuesday morning. This is the first regional wrestler of the week honor for Amo.

Last weekend Amo defeated No. 8 Scott VanDeLoo from Minnesota State by a 16-0 technical fall in the first period on Thursday. Amo went on to pin Austin May from MSU Moorhead in the first period on Friday. With a 2-0 record over the weekend, Amo improved his record to 24-1, 17-0 in duals.

The Vikings will be back in action this weekend as they host Minot State on Friday at 7 p.m., then travel to Upper Iowa on Sunday at 2 p.m.
