Defying All Odds, Ambulance Staff In Tamil Nadu Take Boat, Borrow Bike To Reach Woman In Labour

When 37-year-old Nanjappan dialed 108 and called theambulance at 5:15 am on Sunday after his wife Kavitha went into labour, little did he know that the ambulance will have to overcome many obstacles to reach his place.

The ambulance had to reach Gandhavayal near Sirumugai and ambulance was required to cross the bridge near Lingapuram forest check post, unfortunately, the bridgehad been submerged due to recent rainfall.
